ST. CROIX, USVI – On May 12, at roughly 1:52 p.m., detectives of the VIPD Domestic Violence Unit arrested 18-year-old K’Jahni A. Rivera of Mount Pleasant, charging him with 2nd Degree Assault, Domestic Violence; Simple Assault & Battery; and Disturbance of the Peace by Fighting.

Rivera allegedly assaulted his former partner causing visible injuries on February 22.

Rivera was jailed without bail, as per the territory’s domestic violence laws, pending his Advice of Rights hearing.
