DLCA Releases Latest Fuel Price Survey Showing Most Affordable Gas Prices Territory-Wide

The V.I. Department of Licensing and Consumer Affairs has notified the public of its latest territory-wide fuel price survey that was conducted on Wednesday. DLCA says fuel surveys are designed to inform consumers of the most affordable fuel prices throughout the territory.

According to the department, on St. Croix, the lowest price for self-service regular was found at Five Corners Service Station and One Love Service Station – Golden Rock and La Grande Princess for $4.259 per gallon. Titan Service Station, Fill and Chill Service Station and Freedom City Service Station came in second with the lowest price for self-service regular at $4.399 per gallon.  The lowest price for self-service premium at $4.359 per gallon was found at Five Corners Service Station.  Titan Service Station came in second with the lowest price for self-service premium at $4.499 per gallon. The lowest price for diesel was found at Titan Service Station and G Max Service Station at $4.259 per gallon.

On St. Thomas, consumers may find the lowest price for self-service regular at Petrus Smith Bay for $4.899 per gallon, DLCA said.

The lowest price for self-service premium at $5.299 per gallon was found at the following seven (7) stations: 1st Stop, 1st Stop Frydenhoj, Home Town, Ali Baba, Petrus Smith Bay, Race Track and Rack Track East. Petrus French Town and Petrus Polyberg had the second lowest self-service premium at $5.359 per gallon. The lowest price for diesel was found at 1st Stop, 1st Stop Frydenhoj, Total Gottlieb and Total Mandel Union for $4.999 per gallon.

On St. John, the lowest self-service prices were found at RaceTrack at $5.49 per gallon for regular, $5.59 per gallon for premium and $5.68 per gallon for diesel.
